The value of Türkiye’s exports to neighboring countries amounted to 18 billion and 5 million dollars during the past nine months.
According to data from the Ministry of Trade and the Turkish Exporters Council, total Turkish exports in the first nine months reached 193 billion dollars, an increase of 3.2 percent, compared to the same period last year, including 18 billion and 5 million dollars to neighboring countries: Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Greece, an increase of 12.6 percent, compared to the same period last year, which amounted to 15 billion and 987 million dollars.
Iraq came in first place among neighboring countries importing from Turkey with 7 billion and 777 million dollars, then Bulgaria came second with 3 billion and 180 million dollars, followed by Greece with 2 billion and 483 million dollars.
