The Qatar Agency for Development, Financing and Promotion of Export “export” of the Qatar Development Bank at the Grand Projects Summit 2025 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of 20 leading Qatari companies. “Qatar exports” stated through its official account with the X platform that participation aims to explore available opportunities and open new commercial opportunities for Qatari companies operating in the construction sector in the Saudi market.
Mr. Ibrahim Jabr Al -Rumaihi, head of the Export Development Department from Qatar Development Bank, said that the Qatari participation at the Grand Projects Summit 2025 comes within the framework of providing support to Qatari exporters to open new markets and expand regional and globally. Pointing out that the participation reflects the keenness of Qatar Development Bank to activate the recently launched financing services. Through which the financing program provides direct and indirect financing solutions, dedicated to companies wishing to start their international operations or expand their activities abroad, through guarantees provided by Qatar Development Bank for a Qatari partner bank or an international financial institution or to provide financing directly in accordance with the laws and procedures compatible with Islamic law.
The Qatar Agency for the Development, Financing and Promoting Exports to Qatari exporters provides adequate knowledge of international markets and the opportunities available to them, as well as actual support to promote their services and products. In 2011, Qatar Development Bank launched an agency for the development, financing and promotion of exports “export” to serve all Qatari exporters regardless of the ownership of companies, the size of export contracts or sectors they represent or the size of their returns, with the aim of developing non -hydrocarbons through incentives and initiatives that contribute to enhancing national capabilities.
The summit of major Saudi projects 2025 dealt with the most important major projects in the construction sector to provide valuable visions on the comprehensive transformation process that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing within its ambitious strategies to achieve the targets of “Vision 2030”, especially in the field of infrastructure and urban expansion.
At the end of its activities, the summit revealed a group of major investment, urban and digital projects that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will witness during the next few years, which includes plans to build more than 180 thousand rooms and new hotel rooms by 2034, in the framework of its ambitious preparations to host the FIFA World Cup, as part of a comprehensive development campaign for national infrastructure in the country.
