His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al -Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, received the Arab Digital Economy Award for 2025 for the category of “digital national policies”, during a ceremony held at the activities and conference of “Simlil” Middle East Financial Technology Exhibition and Conference in Dubai.
This honor comes in appreciation of the pivotal role played by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and workers in the technological sector in advancing the digital economy in the State of Qatar by supporting national policies, and launching strategic initiatives aimed at building a diversified and flexible digital economy that contributes to creating new opportunities for growth and investment, and empowering small and medium companies and entrepreneurs to benefit from modern technologies.
This award reflects the regional and Arab appreciation of the advanced position occupied by the State of Qatar in the areas of entrepreneurship and the shift towards the knowledge economy, as well as its efforts in developing advanced digital infrastructure, keeping pace with the requirements of the new global economy.
