“Qatar Finance” participates in hosting the City Wair Middle East Forum

The Qatar Financial Center has contributed to hosting the City Wair Middle East Forum 2025, which was organized in cooperation with the City Weare platform specialized in its comprehensive coverage of the wealth management sector around the world through its headquarters in London. This prominent event collected a group of investment experts and sector leaders, which enhances Doha’s position as a growing center to attract investment and wealth.
This forum, which was held for the first time in Doha, and lasted for two days, was an exceptional opportunity that brought together the 12 of the most prominent asset directors and more than 70 local and regional investors, during which they held deep and intense discussions about the growing investment scene in the region. They also participated in workshops and mini meetings that included experts for selecting investment funds, heads of international investment, advisers, and executives of a number of prestigious institutions, along with asset directors who represent a total of $ 11 trillion.
On this occasion, Mr. Youssef Mohamed Al -Jaida, CEO of the Qatar Financial Center, stated: “The Middle East region strengthens its position as a strategic center in the global financial system. Thanks to its focus on economic diversification, infrastructure development, and promoting openness and international cooperation, the region has a distinguished position to lead the future of innovation and financial growth. ” He added, “The influential events such as the City Weare Forum for the Middle East play a pivotal role in consolidating this reality, by activating the dialogue, exchanging experiences, and supporting the future of investment.”
Commenting on the forum, Mr. Nick Kolard, CEO of City Weair, said: “We were pleased to host the City Wair Middle East Forum for the first time in Doha, and in partnership with the Qatar Financial Center as the main sponsor of this event. It is a pioneering investment conference, which was first launched in 2018, and this year gathered twelve global asset directors with more than 70 experts specializing in evaluating and choosing investment funds from all over the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
