“Shipbee” reaps a funding of 855 thousand riyals to develop a smart logistical system

Shipbee, the integrated digital platform in the logistical services sector supported by artificial intelligence technologies, has announced the completion of the pre -establishment financing round successfully, as it collected 855 thousand Qatari riyals of angelic investors and investment institutions, with an evaluation value of 3.57 million Qatari riyals. Investment returns will be used to accelerate the company’s growth and expand its technical and operational operations.
The financing round led the Growthx Fund (as a major investor), along with individual investors, while the founders contributed an additional self -capital exceeding 150 thousand Qatari riyals. SHIPBEE, the founders of the two partners, Tamer Raafat and Amer Azzani, are led, while Dr. Alan Feligas, member of the Executive Committee of the Qatar Oasis of Science and Technology, joined the company’s board of directors as an independent representative.
SHIPBEE was founded in March 2024, provides a comprehensive logistical platform covering local and international delivery services, including a digital market, applications dedicated to users and drivers, and software solution solutions (SAAS) for companies. The company has succeeded in concluding strategic partnerships with prominent entities, including: Snowno, Qatar Post, DHL, NEXX (a Chinese company specialized in logistical artificial intelligence solutions), along with a number of local companies in the trade and retail sectors.

On this occasion, Tamer Raafat, the founding partner and CEO of Shipbee, said: “This financing will contribute to the development of digital products and accelerate the implementation of our strategy to expansion, achieve the product of the market (Product-Market Fit), and secure strategic government contracts, in addition to enhancing the technical structure of the platform through advanced artificial intelligence solutions.”
He added: “We aspire to build a smart and integrated logistical system in Qatar and the region, which depends on technology as a major engine for efficiency and innovation.”
For his part, Mr. Hamad Mubarak Al -Hajri, CEO of Growthx and Sinnu founder, said: “We are pleased to support Shipbe on its pioneering journey, as its ambitious vision is in line with the goals of digital transformation within the Qatar National Vision 2030, and we seek through this founding investment to enable the company to achieve qualitative growth that makes it one of the most prominent technical logistical services platforms in the region.”

It is worth noting that the innovative approach of Shipbee received a great appreciation, including winning the first Hackathon innovation competition from Qatar Development Bank, as well as the company’s embrace by the Qatar Business Incubator, and the company also had the opportunity to embrace the digital business incubator of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the eighth session of the creative ideas camp.
