Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines celebrated the operation of the new daily flight between Manila and Doha during the tape cutting ceremony at Hamad International Airport.
This occasion was celebrated in the presence of Mr. Richard Numal, President of Philippine Airways, Lawyer Carlos Luis Fernandez, CEO and CEO of Operations in Philippine Airways, as well as executives by the Qatar Airways Group.
In this regard, Mr. Thierry Antinnori, head of commercial operations at Qatar Airways, said: “Qatar Airways is proud to celebrate the start of the common symbol with Philippine Airways. This daily flight represents the beginning of a strong partnership between the two aviation companies, which paves the way to enable the relations between the Philippines and Qatar and facilitate travel for work and entertainment.”

By working closely with the Philippine Airlines, we will provide our customers from all over the world a smooth travel experience and larger flights to and from the Philippines, through Hamad International Airport in Doha, the best airport in the Middle East.”

Direct daily flights will be operated on the Airbus A330-300 for long-range flights, which include 18 flat seats in the business class cabin and 341 seats in the tourist class.
The new partnership provides the way for travelers from Manila to Doha to perfectly continue their flights through the growing Qatar Airways network, which includes more than 170 destinations and across Hamad International Airport, the best airport in the Middle East, according to Sky Track vote in 2025.
