The activities of the third edition of the Qatar Games Festival were launched yesterday at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center, which offers families and visitors a full month of entertainment, play and creativity, as the festival activities will continue until August 4.
The opening witnessed a wide presence and included a vital ceremony that started with a sudden show presented by the QRW band in the “Land of Young Children” area, followed by direct entertainment shows, the appearance of loved personalities, the distribution of balloons, and the display of dazzling balloons.
This annual festival is one of the most prominent activities of the summer season in Qatar, and this year is characterized by new live performances and interactive experiences, in addition to launching the first summer camp designated for children and adolescents within the festival activities.
The festival extends over an area of more than 17,000 square meters, and includes 5 various sections and has the support of I want a company – Qatar as the official communication partner.
Among the most prominent activities that are organized daily are the heroes land for boys, the city of princesses for girls, the land of young children, and the hyperland as a distinctive space for air involvement, in addition to the main theater.
Theatrical performances and scientific experiences
Visitors are also waiting for more than 10 theatrical performances, including musical performances, scientific experiences, recreational performances and competitions, in addition to attending a number of influential characters such as Abu Boufla and ALJ sisters.
The festival includes 10 sales outlets, including Build-A-Bear and Mumuso, a food and beverage yard that includes marks such as Exit55, Juniors, Belgian Fries, and Pizza Box.
This version of the Qatar Games Festival represents a new station in the festival career with the launch of the QTF summer camp and the return program to schools, providing children with additional opportunities for learning, playing and interacting in a fun and purposeful environment. New events
As for the new events that visitors aspire to, including the experience of horror house with the distinguished “Five Nights At Freddy’s’s” characters, it represents the game world with an interesting environment and interactive elements on the ground. Besides the real “Pubg Mobile” experience, which is a movement rich in movement and re -creates the famous battle game in an actual environment using laser weapons. As part of the Pubg Mobile area at the festival, a big competition is held with a major prize, which is a gaitor.
There is also the escape room Sherlock Holmes, which is an escape room in the atmosphere of the Victorian era, and participants are working in teams to solve puzzles and reveal evidence before the time runs out. In addition to the “Lilo & Stitch” activity, which is back to the Qatar Games Festival, providing tropical experiences, enjoyable photography opportunities and interactive experiences of all ages.
Displaying animation
Abu Boufla also participates for the first time in the festival through a distinctive event that includes a new animation show, an interactive session, and a meeting with the audience. During the last week, within the framework of the return program to schools, the famous Egyptian influencer will present a special animation, followed by a motivational talk about school life. Summer camp
This version is witnessing the launch of the Qatar Summer Games Camp, which is a vital and organized program designed for children from 4 to 12 years old, which will be held daily from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm throughout the festival period except for Fridays. The camp offers a set of educational and recreational activities.
The arts and design sessions within the camp include scientific experiences through “Science Street”, events with loved personalities, and physical activities such as movement games and barriers. The camp accommodates up to 150 children within different age groups.
The festival this year also includes a new program entitled “Back to Schools”, which will be held during the last week of the event, and includes theatrical performances, competitions and prizes. The stores will also provide return to school products to meet the needs of families with the approaching new academic year.
The Qatar Games Festival opens its doors from 2 pm until 10 pm on the days of the week, and from 2 pm until 11 pm during the weekends.
