The Qatar Basketball Basketball team is preparing for a strong confrontation against the Philippine team, in the fourth round of the fourth and fourth international championship of William Jones, currently held in the Taiwanese capital, Taipei, after its exciting loss against the Australian national team with a score of “77-82”, in a high-paced match that witnessed great competition until the last moments.
Despite the defeat, Qatar “Al-Radif” presented one of its best matches against a strong competitor, where he ended the first period, advanced “21-19”, before it retreated relatively in the second period that the Australians settled “19-15”, and the third period was equal and ended in a tie “19-19”, while the Australia team excelled in the fourth period “25-22” to settle the match by five points.
With this result, the Qatar “Al -Radif” team raised its score to 4 points in the group ranking table, obtaining a victory over the Emirates and two losses against Japan and Australia, and hopes to restore the tone of victories when he faces the Philippines in its next match.
Qatar “Al -Radif” is participating in the championship as part of a strategic vision from the Qatar Basketball Federation aimed at refining young talents, as this team represents an important support base for the first team, especially with the approaching continental and Arab entitlements.
