10 experts in the jury of the Qatar Tourism Award

Qatar Tourism has announced the formation of a distinguished jury that includes ten local and international experts for the third session of the Qatar Tourism Award, which was developed in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization. This annual award is awarded to honor the institutions and individuals concerned with providing exceptional tourism experiences constantly in Qatar.
The jury costs the assessment of the participants from tourism institutions that offer best practices across seven major categories: excellence in service, food tuning experiences, distinctive monuments, major events, digital footprint, smart and sustainable tourism, and community leaders. These categories include 37 sub -categories that reflect the different dimensions of both visitors and residents.
The jury includes: His Excellency Mr. Hamad Al Mulla, Vice -Chairman of the Education, Culture, Sports and Information Committee in the Shura Council, and Chairman of the Foreign, Political and National Security Committee in the Arab Parliament; Mr. Samer Al -Kharashi, Director of the Regional Office for the Middle East Region at the World Tourism Organization; Marcel Lezer, Deputy Director of Technical Cooperation Department and Silk Road at the World Tourism Organization; Dr. Hamad Salem Majijir, Executive Director of Small and Medium Company Development at Qatar Development Bank; Dr. Abdullah Hassan Al -Mahsadi, CEO of Al -Waab City, Mr. Andrew Stock, who holds the Medal of the British Empire and Director of Visit England; Raman Rashid Al Nuaimi, an expert in innovation; Dr. Rana Sobh, Professor of Marketing and Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Qatar University; Gregor Rankin, publisher and CEO of Food and Travel, Urly Bout, travel content maker.
The carefully selected jury will evaluate the expected posts to exceed the total participation of last year, which amounted to more than 800 posts from various sides of the sector.
