Citizens emphasized that Qatar has major ingredients that make it a global destination for beach tourism, where clean sandy beaches, advanced infrastructure, recreational and sports activities with integrated tourism facilities, noting the need to provide more general tourism services in the beaches as a vital outlet for families and a favorite destination for foreign tourists, including developing the beaches of the northern regions Providing services and facilities in it to put it on the tourist map, such as the beaches of Iraq, a kitchen head, flexibility, Fuerat, Al -Mufarer, and Al -Ruwais, and they made it clear that many tourists see in the shores of Qatar as a place to enjoy and recreation outside the city centers.

They called for the exploitation of the natural scenes and beaches that the State of Qatar abounds, and to support and strengthen these beaches by providing services to be more attractive to the population of citizens and residents and more attractive to foreign tourists.
Some pointed out that it is necessary to generalize the experience of developing 974 beach and West Bay beach and include other beaches all service facilities, especially since many resorts and distinguished beaches are suitable for use and swimming are special beaches owned by hotels and resorts, and it is not allowed to enter them without prior reservation.

Stimulating the sector
Mr. Ali bin Daraa said that the State of Qatar is suffering from a lack of families’ beaches, stressing the need for the state to increase the beaches designated for families, allowing them to enjoy the beaches of Qatar away from the harassment of singles.
He added that Qatar possesses the beaches extending over large areas and needs development and rehabilitation in a way that contributes to stimulating tourism activity, stressing that the exploitation of these beaches will double the number of tourists to the State of Qatar from all countries of the world.
He called for the need for private sector institutions to give the opportunity to invest in the shores of Qatar, noting that the private sector in the country has great capabilities and can invest in various sectors, and he said: The private sector wants to enhance its investments in tourism projects.

Additional expansion
For his part, Mr. Mubarak bin Farish Al -Salem, Vice -President of the Central Municipal Council, said that the past years have witnessed an expansion in the establishment of the beaches designated for families, indicating that Qatar has the beaches of “virgin” that extend over long areas on the Arabian Gulf from the three sides, praising the efforts made during the last period to establish several beaches prepared to receive families, indicating that these beaches are taken to insurance The safety of the visitors and provides an entertainment environment for the visitors. These beaches include Al -Kharij Beach in Umm Bab, Al -Furka Beach in Al -Khor City, Smissima Beach in the Simisma area, and Al -Wakra Beach in Al -Wakra.
He explained that these efforts come within the framework of the Ministry of Municipal interest in rehabilitating the beaches in the State of Qatar as a breathr for the visitors, especially during the summer vacation, and in cooperation and coordination with the various institutions and states of the state, and to ensure that safety measures are provided to beaches, including beaches allocated to families in order to allow them to enjoy the beaches of Qatar away from the harassment of singles.
He added that the state is working to ensure the provision of safety and insurance of these beaches and make them open to receive everyone without procedures or fees, and it is considered the recreational sanctuary for the families of citizens, residents and visitors at the weekend and summer rents.
Services and facilities
Mr. Ahmed Hussein, a tourist expert, explained the importance of providing the services and facilities that the public needs on the beaches, pointing out that Qatar has gold beaches that need development and qualification in a way that reflects positively on the performance of the tourism sector, indicating that the development of beaches will double tourism growth rates.
Abdul -Rahman Al -Balushi stressed the importance of the concerned authorities to deter the beaches with the continuity and intensification of periodic campaigns to clean the beaches from the waste.
He explained that the rehabilitation of beaches contributes to stimulating the tourism movement and also makes Qatar a kiss for tourists, especially the Gulf, stressing the need to provide an opportunity for the private sector and encourage it to go towards investing in constructing the beaches and developing them in cooperation with the public sector.
He pointed out that many citizens love to go to the beach, where they spend quiet times and enjoy comfort and recreation throughout the year, Qatar is blessed with many sandy beaches, and reaching some of them needs four -wheel drive cars, and some cafes and beach vehicles for rent can be found near some other beaches and resorts.
He explained that the State of Qatar has a number of beaches, including Zakrit Beach, in addition to other beaches such as Al -Khor, Al -Wakra, Al -Ghiyari, Smoke, Mesaieed Beach, Celine Resort, Ras Burooq Beach and Khor Kadda Beach, noting that most of these beaches need to develop and add some public facilities and services and more beaches must be provided that maintain the privacy of families.
He said: Qatar is surrounded by water from 3 sides, but until this moment it does not have public beaches that contain the services and facilities that visitors need, and all sides must be joined to place the beaches on the tourist map by providing some simple services in those beaches such as toilets and umbrellas.

Privacy of families
For his part, Mr. Adel Al -Yafii stressed that the State of Qatar has prominent tourism ingredients through which it can attract large numbers of tourists, stressing that the development boom in the State of Qatar, which includes various development sectors, enhances tourism development.
He stressed that most of the beaches suffer from the absence of the privacy of families, as the harassment of singles for families spreads on the beaches, stressing the importance of implementing the municipal council proposals to develop the beaches and allocate beaches to families in places such as Celine to maintain privacy, and pointed out that the lack of beaches for families in some municipalities is forced to travel large distances that sometimes reach 30 kilometers to move to Other municipal beaches.
He demanded that the beaches must provide all the security and safety elements for their pioneers, families, children and singles, stressing the need for guidance signs to be put in place for beach pioneers.
He stressed that Qatar needs family beaches in all municipalities, noting that the state has beaches that extend hundreds of kilometers, explaining that the optimal exploitation of these beaches contributes to supporting and motivating the tourism sector.
He noted that the state’s interest in the tourism sector has doubled in a remarkable way in recent years, especially after Doha has become a regional capital of the forums of politics, thought, economics and media as well as its organization and continuous hosting of technical activities and international sports courses, and was both activities, international exhibitions and shopping festivals that require providing distinguished tourism services for Qatar visitors from all parts of the land.
He pointed out that the role of Qatar for tourism contributes to organizing, stimulating and developing the tourism industry in Qatar and supervising it and organizing the exhibition industry in the country, stressing the importance of working to organize tourism in the country and empower it and supervise its development in addition to representing Qatar and promoting it as a tourist destination for entertainment, recreation, work, education and sports.

Options during holidays

The state’s beaches are characterized by a privacy for every beach that distinguishes it from the other and makes it preferred by a group of people during the weekly trips that coincide with the vacations. For example, Fuerit Beach is a sandy bay with rock formations, and about 70 km from Doha. As for the Khor Kaid Beach, it is sandy 108 km from Doha and there are marine and desert activities.
