His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ibrahim Al -Maadid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications, visited the port of Salalah, accompanied by His Excellency Eng. Khamis bin Muhammad Al Shammakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in the Sultanate of Oman.
His Excellency listened during the tour, which included operational facilities in the port, an explanation presented by Mr. Mohammed bin Awfit Al -Maashni, CEO of corporate affairs in Salalah Port, in which he dealt with the most prominent future plans to develop the port, in addition to reviewing his operational capabilities and position as one of the most important strategic ports in the region.
This visit comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman in the field of ports and logistical services, which contributes to supporting regional and international trade movement and developing the maritime transport sector.
