Scientists from the University of Business and Technology in Georgia have succeeded in creating an artificial intelligence system capable of analyzing sound patterns to determine the psychological features of the human being, which can detect the knowledge, emotional and behavioral dimensions of individuals with a remarkable accuracy, and it constitutes a tool in the treatment of mental illness.
According to scientists, the artificial intelligence system examines the details of human speech, including “tone, rhythm, ringing, speed, stopping and emotional fluctuations” to build a detailed psychological file, this file is known as “psychological symbol”, and it works as an indicator that draws how a person thinks and feels and interacts, revealing the dimensions of the personality that was difficult to measure previously.
The “psychological symbol” provides a new perspective to understand human consciousness, and this achievement is possible by integrating advanced artificial intelligence algorithms with psychological psychoanalysis research.
The researchers pointed out that this psychological symbol allows specialists to explain behavior, motives and growth capabilities, and this approach not only enhances academic research, but also opens doors for practical applications in mental health, education and personal development.
By converting audio signals into measurable data, the system contributes to the progress of both the science of perception and artificial intelligence.
