The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the assignment of Mr. Saif Jassim Al -Kuwari as Director of the General Administration for Acting Air Employment and Services.
The vision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the State of Qatar is to maintain a safe, effective and sustainable civil airline system that enhances the situation of Qatar on the map of the civil aviation industry in the world.
It is also concerned with air transport matters and is involved in setting policies related to air aviation at the regional and international levels through its departments and units internally and the organizations and federations that belong to it externally.
The authority also works to advance the civil aviation and meteorological facilities and reach them to the best levels in terms of efficiency and accuracy, in addition to organizing the airspace, securing aviation safety and supervising all facilities related to this sector, in order to achieve continuous growth and sustainable development at all levels.
The authority specializes in setting policies, plans and programs related to civil aviation and meteorological facilities, ensuring their implementation, compliance with international treaties and agreements in the fields of civil aviation and meteorology in which the state is a party, and enhancing relations with international organizations and foreign countries, as well as organizing civil aviation activities and controlling operators and service providers.
