The results of a recent scientific study showed that highly processed foods such as ready -made meals, snacks and soft drinks are harmful to men’s health; As it enhances the chances of weight gain, causes hormonal imbalance and reduces sperm quality.

In this study, conducted by the Danish University of Copenhagen, the researchers asked whether the treatment of food with the same content of calories and nutrients affects the health of the person. After 43 men between the ages of 20 and 35 eaten high -treatment or low -treatment foods for a certain period, there were clear differences:

  • Weight: With highly processed foods, the lipids increased by an average of about 1 kilogram, although both systems contain similar amounts of calories and nutrients.
  • Cholesterol: The percentage of good cholesterol (HDL) has changed to harmful cholesterol “LDL” negatively.
  • Plastic chemical content: High -treated foods caused the high content of “CXMINP” in the blood sharply, which is a plastic chemical that causes an imbalance in the natural hormonal balance, which may be the reason behind the availability of a small amount of hormones important for sperm quality.
  • Lithium: The amount of lithium decreased in the blood, knowing that lithium improves mood by affecting the continuation of neurons and regulating stress in the brain.

The researchers concluded that eating highly processed foods not only affects heart health, but also on the reproductive health of the man, due to the multiplication of harmful substances in the blood and semen.
