Qatar Women’s Association expects a memorandum of understanding with the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Qatari Businesswomen Association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented by the Business Women Committee, during its participation in the “Leadership and Administrative Development Symposium” organized by the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital, Muscat, in a move aimed at enhancing the capabilities of women’s cadres and enabling them to lead the future with high confidence and skill.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mrs. Aisha Hussein Al -Fardan, Vice President of the Qatar Businesswomen Association and Mrs. Areej Bint Mohsen Al -Zaabiya, Chairman of the Businesswors Committee of the Amman Trade and Industry Chamber; With the aim of enhancing economic, commercial and investment cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, and to facilitate investment operations in both countries.

The Association said in a statement today, that the memorandum of understanding confirms the commitment of the two parties to exchange experiences and support efforts to empower women, with a focus on their vital role in advancing economic growth and entrepreneurship.

In this context, Mrs. Aisha Hussein Al -Fardan said: “We believe in the Qatar Women’s Association that regional strategic partnerships, such a memorandum with the Business Women’s Committee in the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, constitute a cornerstone to enhance trade and investment exchange between our two countries. The empowerment of women is not only achieved through awareness, but by building sustainable systems that translate into real opportunities on the ground.”

For its part, Mrs. Areej Bint Mohsen Al -Zaabiya considered that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Qatari Businesswomen Association is a qualitative step towards the integration of Gulf efforts to support business owners, and to enhance cognitive and commercial exchange between Omani and Qatari women.

In the context of the symposium, the Vice President of the Qatari businesswomen Association presented a working paper entitled “Self -empowerment, internal change and self -leadership”, through which she emphasized that the real power begins from within, and that self -leadership and internal transformation constitute the basis for any sustainable development, whether at the level of individuals, society or the national economy.

She pointed out that her professional and human experience gained her a firm conviction that real empowerment begins with the self -belief and that the moment when a woman realizes her capabilities makes a difference in the process of change and development.

She emphasized that enabling women to make decisions and providing equal opportunities in the work environment enhances their ability to lead change, pointing out that her experience in the Businesswomen Association is a vivid example of the importance of self -leadership as an essential element in creating a societal impact.

Al -Fardan also participated in a session entitled “Inspiring Leadership in a World of Change World, between Self -empowerment and Crisis Management”, where the session discussed the impact of inspiring leadership on the work environment in major institutions, and how to translate the concept of leadership in pressing work environments, in addition to the role played by the leadership of institutions in empowering employees and enhancing the culture of innovation.
