“OPONITAD” said: Ovarian cancer falls in the types of common cancers in women, noting that the dangerous factors leading to it are:

  • Age, as it affects women over the age of fifty more commonly, especially after menopause.
  • Family history, if one of the first -class relatives such as the mother or sister is suffering from ovarian, breast or colon cancer, the risk of infection in the woman may increase dramatically due to possible genetic mutations.
  • Infertility
  • The beginning of the very early menstruation.
  • Late menopause.
  • Women’s diseases such as endometriosis.

Symptoms

Symptoms of ovarian cancer are:

  • Constant swelling or swelling in the abdomen.
  • Feeling full even after eating small meals.
  • Constant pain in the stomach, back or pelvis.
  • Repeated or surprising desire to urinate.
  • Digestive problems such as constipation or diarrhea.
  • Unjustified fatigue.
  • Unjustified weight loss.

Ways for treatment

“Abonet De” pointed out that the first step to treat ovarian cancer is surgery to remove the largest possible tumor, perhaps both ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus and parts of the neighboring organs.

After surgery, most women receive chemotherapy, and there are directed medications that prevent cancer cells from returning.

Immunotherapy is also used mainly to treat repetition of the disease.
