The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said, on Wednesday, that the Palestinian women in the Strip are deprived of the second year of the protocols and programs of early examination, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, due to the siege and the war of Israeli genocide.

The Ministry stated, in a statement of Anatolia, that the destruction of the occupation centers and the preliminary examination and diagnostic photography departments deprived women of benefiting from these programs.

She pointed out that the injured people who were diagnosed before and during the war do not have the ingredients for specialized treatment or medical follow -up.

The Ministry explained that cancer drugs are among the most affected services due to the acute shortage of medicines and medical consumers, and that the low levels of nutrition have left catastrophic effects on patients.

She added that the health system in Gaza lacks the ingredients of prevention, early detection methods and monitoring cases, while many patients need radiotherapy that is not locally available and is deprived of travel to receive it.

Officials in the Ministry of Health, in addition to governmental and human rights reports, have previously confirmed that all hospitals and health facilities that are still working in the sector provide their partial services to the Palestinians after departments of them left the service, after being subjected to Israeli targeting with bombing and destruction and preventing the entry of medicines, health supplies and devices.

According to a previous statement by the government media office in Gaza, about 12 thousand and 500 cancer patients in the sector face the risk of death and need urgent treatment.

Since the second of last March, Israel has closed all the crossings leading to Gaza, and prevents the entry of any foodstuffs, medicines or humanitarian aid, which has introduced the sector into famine despite the accumulation of relief trucks on its borders, but it sometimes allows the entry of very limited quantities of aid that does not meet the minimum needs of the councils and does not end famine, especially with most trucks being robbed of gangs from gangs that the Gaza government says.
