The Qatar Satellite Company (Es’hailSat) and EgyptSat have concluded a multi-year satellite capacity agreement, allowing EgyptSat to provide communication services via VSAT stations to its customer base in Egypt, which is spread throughout the Middle East and North Africa region.
Es’hailSat explained, in a statement today, that this agreement comes as a continuation of the partnership concluded last year between the two companies to benefit from joint satellite services, as well as the extensive terrestrial infrastructure of both companies, which provides the latest technologies in the field of satellite communications and VSAT.
On this occasion, Mr. Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Es’hailSat, said: “We at Es’hailSat are pleased to conclude a multi-year capacity agreement with EgyptSat, which combines the high capabilities of the Es’hail-1 satellite and the strength of the terrestrial infrastructure of both companies, in a way that serves the interests of VSAT station customers in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region.”
He added: “Our satellite services remain dedicated to providing flexible and secure communications. We welcome the development of this partnership with EgyptSat, and we continue to grow our portfolio of VSAT and managed services to meet the aspirations of our main customers.”
This partnership is expected to benefit a diverse segment of customers through multiple applications, such as VSAT communications, enterprise communication networks, telecommunications, and other digital services. The two companies are also expanding the scope of their joint cooperation to include other areas such as training, pricing, and working together as preferred partners.
It is noteworthy that /VSAT/ is a satellite-based solution that provides high-speed Internet connection in remote areas, and is an ideal solution for companies that require continuous connectivity, such as oil platforms and mining sites.
