The Qatar Stock Exchange index declined at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.40 percent, losing 42.94 points, and thus falling to the level of 10,619 points, compared to the close of the last session and under pressure from all sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a negative performance for all sectors. The transportation sector decreased by 0.20 percent, the communications sector by 0.26 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.27 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.31 percent, the insurance and real estate sectors by 0.62 percent each, and the industrial sector by 0.67 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 111.874 million riyals, distributed among 47.472 million shares, with 5,471 transactions executed.
