His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance, met separately with His Excellency Mr. Scott Besant, Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America, His Excellency Mr. Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, and Ms. Zhou Jiayi, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, separately, during his participation in the annual spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, held during the period from April 13 to 18 in Washington.
During these meetings, a range of financial and economic issues were reviewed, in addition to discussing developments in the current situation at the regional and international levels.
His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance, also met with His Excellency Mr. Giancarlo Giorgetti, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Italy, His Excellency Ms. Rachel Reeves, Minister of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom, and His Excellency Mr. Carlos Cuerpo Caballero, First Vice President of the Government of Spain and Minister of Economy, Trade and Business, separately, during his participation in the annual spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.
During the meetings, a group of financial and economic issues were reviewed, in addition to discussing developments in the current situation at the regional and international levels, and the challenges associated with them, especially with regard to issues of common interest between the State of Qatar and the three countries associated with it, especially with regard to issues of common interest between the State of Qatar and these parties.
