Meta announced that it would stop the artificial intelligence image generation tool on the Instagram platform, a few days after its launch, following widespread criticism due to privacy concerns.
The company stated in a statement that the goal of the tool was to provide a creative means that gives users the ability to control the use of their open content, but it explained that it received feedback stating that the tool did not achieve the desired goal, so it decided to stop it.
Last Tuesday, Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, launched the “Muse Image” model, which is the first image generation model from Meta Super Intelligence Laboratories, which allows users to create and modify images using the content available through accounts opened on Instagram.
