As part of its annual plan for the year 2026, the youth team at Al Wakrah Sports Club organized a celebration on the occasion of International Youth Day, which fell on the twelfth of August, under the slogan “A Different Life… Shared Dreams,” with the participation of young men and women.
The activities included a workshop on “Safe Use of Social Media,” presented by trainer Wael Samir Mahdi, which addressed the most prominent digital risks and ways to prevent them, protecting privacy and personal data, combating fraud and cyberbullying, in addition to introducing methods to enhance account security and verify the authenticity of information before circulating it.
The celebration witnessed a lecture entitled “Building Leadership Capacities in Girls,” presented by trainer Noura Ali Al-Thawadi, and focused on developing leadership skills, enhancing self-confidence, communication, teamwork, decision-making, and time management.
The program included interactive activities and a diverse sports program for both categories, with the aim of developing the spirit of initiative and creativity and enhancing community participation.
