Qatar Chamber participates in the meetings of the Arab-French Chamber

Qatar Chamber participated in the meetings of the Executive Office and Board of Directors of the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce, which were held today in the French capital, Paris.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber Board of Directors, headed the Chamber’s delegation participating in the meetings, which included Dr. Khalid bin Kleefikh Al-Hajri, a member of the Board of Directors.

The agenda of the Board of Directors meeting included the ratification of the minutes of the previous meeting, the approval of the estimated budget of the Chamber for the year 2025, and the results of the meetings of the Chamber’s bodies, in addition to the fifth economic summit of France and the Arab countries scheduled to be launched tomorrow, Thursday.

The Executive Office meeting dealt with approving the minutes of the previous office meeting, reviewing the schedule for the Chamber’s body meetings, and a number of other topics.

In press statements, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani praised the advanced trade relations between Arab countries and the Republic of France, pointing out the importance of these meetings between member chambers in order to develop these relations to broader horizons.

His Excellency also referred to the advanced cooperation relations between Qatar and France, noting that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries last year amounted to 9.2 billion riyals, which makes France an important trade partner for the State of Qatar.

His Excellency stressed the Qatar Chamber’s keenness to strengthen cooperation relations between the business sectors in Qatar and France, stressing the aspiration of Qatari investors to learn about the investment opportunities available in France in all sectors, as well as the Qatar Chamber to encourage French companies to increase their investments in Qatar.
