The competitions will start with the establishment of 9 runs in the internal and external fields in Al -Shaqab, 5 of which are allocated for the star and three -star categories at different altitudes of up to 145 cm, two halves for the five -star category at an altitude of 145 – 150 cm, the primary dressing run for local knights, and the dressing run by the classification of St. George, Then the “Friday” will continue tomorrow, with the establishment of 9 runs, 6 of which are for the categories of the star, the three -star and the five -star at altitudes of 110 – 150 cm, in addition to a run for the future horsemen at an altitude of 80 cm, and a run for the youth category that qualifies for the final of the International Equestrian Federation for the seventh group of the Cubs category Junior and youth at an altitude of 130 cm, and international dressage.

In turn, Mr. Nasser Al -Hajri, sports director of the tournament, stated during the press conference that the competitions for this year will witness the participation of 194 horsemen; Among them are 95 Qatari Persians, in addition to Gulf knights and Europeans representing 35 countries in the jumping barriers, while the dressing competition will witness the participation of 15 knights and knights.
He noted that the dressing run was allocated to the CDI1 and the local dressage run that will include 15 horsemen, with four knights competing for the sword of His Highness the Emir on Friday in the evening, pointing out that nearly 500 stables were provided to accommodate the participating horses.
He also pointed out that the largest percentage of the participating knights is from Qatar with 95 horsemen, Saudi Arabia 35 horsemen, and 39 horsemen from European countries, along with knights from other countries, adding that the tournament will witness the allocation of stables for different groups, where the stables for European knights host 155 horses , And the stables allocated to the local knights 176 horses, the stables of the Gulf knights 130 horses, and the domestic stables of the local Shaqab, 40 horses, after the total participating horses reached 351 for all the championship categories.
On the jury, Al -Hajri explained that the team includes referees from 7 countries, with the help of a local team, including Qataris, pointing out that the tournament will be held over three days in the two fields of the interior field for the one -star category, and the external square of the three and five -star categories, while it will be a run. CSIU-E for the age group from 16 to 21 years in the external field, which is qualified for the seventh group.
