The General Tax Authority participated in the fourteenth meeting of the committee of the heads and directors of the tax departments in the countries of the Cooperation Council, which was held in the State of Kuwait on February 18, represented by its President, His Excellency Mr. Khalifa bin Jassim Al -Kawari, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting aims to raise the efficiency of tax systems in the countries of the Cooperation Council, and highlight the best tax practices applied in member states, by combating tax evasion and building a Gulf tax system characterized by tax compliance and transparency.
The participation of the General Tax Authority in this meeting comes as an affirmation of the commitment of the State of Qatar to regional tax cooperation and the exchange of experiences and knowledge with sister countries, which contributes to economic and financial integration between the GCC countries.
