The German Cancer Control Association said that the sudden appearance of moles beats the alarm; As it vows to develop skin cancer.
The association added that the emergency changes in the shape, size and color of the moles that already be foreshadow the incidence of skin cancer, as follows:
- Figure: The mole becomes uneven shape and the edge becomes winding, unclear, uneven, or scaly rough.
- Size: The diameter of the mole exceeds 5 mm or looks semi -spherical, and the mole is more than 1 mm above the level of the skin.
- Color: Several colors collect in one mole, such as pink, gray, brown and black.
Symptoms of skin cancer also include skin nodules and dark ulcers.
The association stressed the need to consult a dermatologist as soon as these emergency changes on the skin are noticed, in order to undergo the necessary medical examinations, and then undergo timely treatment in the event of verifying skin cancer.
According to the form and stage of the disease, the methods of treating skin cancer include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, dynamic optical therapy and immune therapy.
It is worth noting that skin cancer is a malignant tumor that affects the skin, its causes lies in excessive exposure to UV rays, in addition to genetic predisposition, genetic diseases and excessive exposure to chemicals.
