Today, the second edition of the Championship of the Qatar International Squash International Championship for Men 2025, which will continue until February 28, was launched today, with the participation of a group of squash players in the world.

The first day witnessed exciting competitions that resulted in the qualification of the British George Parker to the second round after a difficult victory over the Egyptian Ibrahim Al-Qabbani, 3-2, where he managed to resolve the confrontation after a match that spanned five runs (10-12, 11-2, 11-4, 9-11, 11-1).
Al-Masry Yahya Al-Nuwaisani also reached the second round at the expense of his compatriot Ali Hussein, where he succeeded in resolving the meeting 3-2 (11-7, 11-8, 9-11, 9-11, 11-6).
In turn, Scottish Ruri Stewart achieved a victory over the Brazilian Roy Suares 3-2, after a 84-minute confrontation, ending with an exciting fifth half (11-0, 9-11, 7-11, 11-8, 20-18).
For his part, the British Diklan James gave a strong performance against the Egyptian Mustafa Al-Sarti, and he managed to win 3-1, where he imposed his control in the decisive runs to end the meeting (11-6, 9-11, 11-4, 11-6).
The second round matches will start on Tuesday, as the championship will witness the entry of players classified into the competition circle. The attention will be directed towards the Qatari star Abdullah Al -Tamimi, the sixth seed in the championship, who begins his career with a strong confrontation against Scottish Ruri Stewart.
The second round competitions also record the first appearance of the first ranked championship, the Egyptian Tariq Moamen, who was exempt from playing the first round, as he faces in his first British match George Parker.
In a statement, Saad Al -Muhannadi, the championship director, confirmed that the competitions are witnessing a high technical level since the first day, noting that the tournament continues to strengthen its position on the international scene.
