The measles continue to spread in Texas

Measles continued to spread in the US state of Texas, where the number of cases of injury reached 124.

The Texas Health Services Department stated that most of the cases were for non -broken individuals or individuals whose status is not known in relation to vaccination, and 18 people have been transferred to the hospital so far.

Children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17 are 62 cases, followed by 39 cases among children aged 4 years and below.

The rural Jeans Province is the center of the disease, where 80 cases were confirmed among the population, according to the state’s health services department.

The centers of control and prevention of diseases separately confirmed 93 cases in 8 states so far this year in Alaska, California, Georgia, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rod Island and Tixas.

The measles are an infectious disease, and one patient with an injured patient can publish measles up to 9 out of every 10 closely close to injury, according to the American centers to control and prevent diseases.

The United States of America witnessed an increase in measles during 2024, including the outbreak of Chicago that hit more than 60 people.
