In a new achievement that reflects its commitment to institutional excellence and innovation, the Qatar Olympic Committee celebrates this afternoon to obtain a certificate of international accreditation in the ISO 30401 knowledge management system, thus becoming the first institution in the State of Qatar and the first sports agency in the Middle East region to reap this prestigious international recognition.
The handover ceremony of the International Accreditation Certificate will be held today in the Lusail Hall in the building of the Qatar Olympic Committee, in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary -General Jassim bin Rashid Al -Buainain and a number of dignitaries and officials. During the ceremony, the certificate will be officially delivered to His Excellency the Secretary -General by the representatives of the donor company.
This international accreditation reflects the committee’s commitment to developing the knowledge management system, enhancing a culture of innovation, and applying international best practices to support competencies and promoting institutional performance.
This achievement is an important step towards consolidating the status of the Qatar Olympic Committee as a pioneering platform in the field of sports management, and enhancing its capabilities to exchange knowledge and experiences, which contributes to the development of the sports work system in Qatar and the entire region.
