His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al -Kharji, President of Qatar for Tourism and Chairman of the Visit QATAR Board of Directors, met with His Excellency Mr. George, Hazim, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the State of Qatar. During the meeting, the two parties touched on ways of joint cooperation and opportunities to enhance tourism exchange between the two countries.
In another context, Qatar Tourism honored Mr. Waseem Dajah, the former director of the W. Doha Hotel and Apartments of the Marriott International Group, in appreciation of his prominent contributions within fifteen years spent in the hospitality sector in the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was held at the St. Regis Hotel, Doha, where Mr. Omar Al -Jaber, Head of the Tourism Development Sector in Qatar, and the Executive Director of Acting Support Services Department at Visit QATAR, presented a certificate of appreciation and a honorary shield for Mr. Dajah, in appreciation of his accomplishments.
