Hassan Rabia Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the Qatar Stars League Foundation, held a round table to unveil the latest preparations and equipment for the start of the Qatar Cup Championship for the 2024-2025 football season, which will be held during the period from April 22 to May 10.
Al -Kuwari spoke with the various media, about the promotional tours of the cup and the details of the fans’ awards, as well as all the organizational and logistical matters of the tournament.
Al -Kawari started his speech at the session, saying: We congratulate the dam to win the league title for the second time in a row and the 18th in its history, and we also commend the strong competition from Al -Duhail and the rest of the clubs in a season that came very strong and the competition was until the last round.
He said: This special competition will complete it in the Qatar Cup for the four teams that won the first places, which is the Al -Sadd League champion, Al -Duhail Al -Wasif and Al -Gharafa, and Al -Ahly, which returns after the absence of many years.
He pointed out that the competition system requires the first place to meet with the fourth table of the ranking, while the second one faces third place, and the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium will be hosted in the full championship.
He explained that the “Stadium of the Championships”, which hosted many previous championships, was chosen at the top of the readiness, and the competitions will start on April 22.
He pointed out that the tournament’s promotional campaign was launched through the cup rounds in more than one place, and the rounds continue until the semi -finals and the final, and there will be ambassadors for the tournament, to promote it.
On the cup round, he stressed that the sponsors’ round was completed, and there are promotional rounds of the championship in the commercial complexes despite the limited time, and there will be a participation of a number of stars and the rounds continue until the start of the semi -final matches.
He also explained that the process of selling tickets for all championship matches was launched immediately after the end of the league, through the ticket selling platform on the Qatar Stars League website and can easily obtain tickets.
A number of valuable prizes have been allocated, and there will be clouds on a car in each match in addition to other in -kind gifts that number 15 valuable, and the clouds will be electronically in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce to ensure complete transparency.
Hassan Rabia pointed out that a region of the masses has allocated many actors, and we invite the fans to attend early, as the match starts from seven in the evening.
The doors of the stadium will be opened from five in the afternoon and will be open to the fans until the start of the match to take advantage of all the existing activities.
Ticket prices start from 20 riyals, 50 riyals right and left, and the main platform is intended for invitations.

On the sensitivity of matches and the possibility of using foreign referees in the semi -finals and the final, Al -Kuwari replied, saying: The decision to choose the referees is within the jurisdiction of the arbitration management in the Qatari Federation, and they always put their confidence in the Qatari rule, which proved its capabilities and great capabilities at the international, global and continental levels, and we do not need foreign rulers because our rulers are at the highest level.
