Qatar Islamic Bank (Bank) received two awards for the best bank for individuals in Qatar and Best Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises in Qatar, as part of the MEED Magazine Magazine Bureaucares Awards in the Middle East and North Africa region for 2025, which enhances its position as one of the most prominent financial institutions focusing on innovation, providing a distinguished experience for customers, and achieving sustainable growth.
The Best Bank of Individuals Award in Qatar reflects the bank’s efforts to provide integrated banking services, based on smoothness, efficiency and confidence. This success depends on a balanced strategy that mixes digital innovation and personal support. With more than 300 advanced features and experience, the bank’s mobile application has become the favorite channel of customers, as it provides a comprehensive and easy -to -use platform that meets all their banking needs, and gives them the ability to fully control their accounts, cards, operations, and complete all their banking transactions digitally. They can also apply for a new or additional account, obtain personal financing, or credit card via mobile application.
In order to enhance its position as digital banking pioneers, the bank launched new innovations that go beyond traditional banking services, as the Qib Marketplace on the mobile application, which provides a variety of products and includes a section dedicated to local and medium -sized institutions to display and sell their products. The bank also launched the first electronic auto store in Qatar, allowing customers to browse cars, reserve a driving experience, and choose and financing cars through the bank’s mobile application.
The award for the best bank for small and medium enterprises in Qatar comes in appreciation of the comprehensive approach that the bank follows in supporting customers from small and medium -sized companies, as it provides a wide range of digital products and services compatible with Sharia, including the service of opening the corporate account online, banking services via the Internet, and mobile application for companies. The bank has also launched joint credit cards with Ooredoo, as well as a set of payment solutions such as points of sale, the payment gate, and the Softpos application. All of these services aim to facilitate banking operations for small and medium -sized companies, enhance access to financing, and help companies manage their financial operations more efficiently, which supports their growth and contribution to diversifying Qatar’s economy.
