beIN SPORTS, the flagship sports network of beIN Media Group (‘beIN’), achieved a new international milestone at the 2025 International Association of Sports Press (AIPS) Awards, held in Lausanne, Switzerland; Two of its original productions succeeded in securing their spots on the list of the top 10 global works in their categories.
The short film “In Gaza, hope always rises from the rubble” and the documentary film “Palestine: One Shirt, Multiple Roots,” both produced by beIN SPORTS journalist Muhammad Al-Nakhalah, received honors in the short video and documentary video categories, respectively. The film “In Gaza, Hope Always Rises from the Rubles” sheds light on the reality of athletes in the Gaza Strip under the burden of war, embodying their steadfastness and determination to achieve their dreams despite the harsh challenges. While the film “Palestine: One Shirt, Multiple Roots” documents the journey of the Palestinian football team, presenting the game as a symbol of identity, unity, and hope that transcends borders and restrictions. The documentary is currently available to watch on beIN’s TOD digital broadcasting platform in the Middle East and North Africa region.
