The American Institute of Architects – Middle East concluded its distinguished annual conference for 2024, entitled “Qatar: The Shaping of the Pearl,” by announcing that the conference venue, “Msheireb Downtown Doha,” won the Institute’s prestigious award for excellence in urban design and planning. This honor reflects Msheireb’s transformative approach to smart and sustainable urban development, which combines the ancient Qatari heritage with the latest innovative architectural practices.
