A Qatari investment delegation held a series of meetings with officials and businessmen in the city of Oklahoma, during a two -day visit, highlighting economic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation participated in a round economic table session that focused on harmony between Qatar’s investment goals and the attractive economic environment in Oklahoma, where he was briefed on investment opportunities in the state in various sectors, including the fields of flying, defense, energy, film, technology and other fields. The Qatari delegation also toured the Capitol building in Oklahoma, the memorial and the National Museum in Oklahoma City. He also visited the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, as it was briefed on the cultural heritage of the state.
“We are excited and keen to strengthen our partnership with Oklahoma, benefiting from the state’s innovation environment to advance the wheel of economic growth and prosperity for both sides,” said Dr. Hamad Al -Moftah, Vice President of the State of Qatar to the United States of America.
The delegation included representatives from: Ministry of Trade and Industry, Qatar Investment Authority, Barzan Holding Company, Free Zones Authority – Qatar, Investment Promotion Agency in Qatar, Qatar Financial Center, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the American Qatar Business Council, and the Qatar Diar Company.
