The Qatar Stock Exchange board issued a decision to appoint Mr. Abdullah Muhammad Al -Ansari as CEO of the Qatar Stock Exchange, and according to this decision, Mr. Al -Ansari will hold the position of CEO of the Qatar Stock Exchange as of Sunday, March 16.
It should be noted that Mr. Abdullah Muhammad Al -Ansari has joined the Qatar Investment Authority since 2011, and took the position of Director of Qatar Funds in the agency from 2022 to 2025, and was responsible for launching, developing and managing initiatives that contributed to the development of the local economy with a focus on market liquidity. He led a team that focused on market products and public and private assets.
Mr. Al -Ansari holds a master’s degree in economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Qatar University.
