Walid Qandil, the referees official in the tournament, said in statements that the tournament is witnessing the application of the new laws approved by the 39th World Congress Federation of the International Federation of Volleyball, which was held recently in Portugal, noting the participation of 15 rulers representing 9 Arab countries in the competition, where They perfectly responded to explaining the new laws, which contributed to the success of arbitration and facilitating the application of laws.
He considered that the application of the “challenge” technology provided a great rest for the participating referees and teams, stressing that the referees’ decisions were always accurate and correct.
The decision of the Referees Committee of the Arab Volleyball Federation added that the technical level of the championship was distinguished, pointing out that the explanation of new regulations and laws on the sidelines of the tournament enhances the development of the level of Arab referees, especially with the application of these laws in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
At the end of his speech, Walid Qandil thanked the Arab and Qatari federations for the great support they provided for the success of the tournament, praising the distinguished organization that reflects the development of the game in the region.
