Yesterday, Al-Arabi Club introduced its new Jordanian international striker, Yazan Al-Naimat, in a unique way through a video published on the team’s account on the “x” platform. Al-Arabi announced its contract with the 25-year-old Jordanian for one season.
Yazan Al-Naimat, who previously played in the Stars League with Al-Ahly Club, presented distinguished levels, as well as with his country’s national team, during the 2023 Asian Cup in Doha last February, and contributed to Jordan reaching the final match for the first time in its history.
The Dream Team seeks to improve its results in the Ooredoo Stars League after losing the last derby against Al Sadd, and the team failed to achieve its first victory this season, so its balance stopped at two points from two draws against Al Shahaniya and Al Wakrah. Therefore, the Al Arabi management was keen to strengthen its ranks with a player with the capabilities and qualities of Al Naimat in order to make a significant addition to the Dream Team and improve the team’s results in the coming period. Al Naimat will undergo his training with Al Arabi following his return from participating with his country’s national team in the coming days in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
In a related context, Al-Naimat was keen to thank Al-Ahly Club in a video on his official page on the “x” platform, saying that he is happy with the period he spent within the club and that every individual in Al-Ahly is like a father, brother and support to him. The Jordanian striker added that he wishes Al-Ahly Club success and that it will end the current season among the top clubs in the “Ooredoo” Stars League table. The move was widely circulated on social media, especially among Al-Ahly Club fans who thanked the player for the wonderful initiative and wished him success in his new career.
