Al-Bidaa Club signs a partnership agreement with Ajax to develop players

Al-Bidaa Sports Club signed a long-term partnership agreement with Dutch club Ajax to develop the club’s youth sector, which extends until 2029.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Fahad Al Thani, Vice President of Al Bidda Club, stressed in a press conference held today, Monday, in the conference hall at Stadium 974 in Doha to sign the agreement, the importance of the role played by the Ajax Amsterdam Academy in discovering and refining players of all age groups, and presenting a promising generation in the future.
He explained that the agreement aims to develop the youth programme to benefit from the Dutch club’s experience to lay a solid foundation for establishing the best local football academy in Qatar. He stressed that the youth development programme will be sponsored by the Dutch club and will help develop the players’ talents and hone their abilities to become distinguished players in the club and in the national teams in the future.
He praised the prestigious position of the Ajax Academy in the world, noting that it is one of the best academies in the world, and that many players who are considered legends in football have graduated from it. Therefore, the academy will have a tangible positive role in developing the youth sector at Al-Bidaa Club, which will benefit Qatari football and its development.
For his part, Alex Kroos, the technical director of Ajax Amsterdam Academy, expressed his confidence in the development of the partnership with Al-Bidda Club, pointing to the success of the services of the international network of Ajax Academy after Al-Bidda Club joined the network, indicating that Al-Bidda Club shares the same vision with them, and the interest in the youth sector will be an application of Ajax Club’s philosophy in developing youth categories on a wider scale in the world.
