This partnership represents an embodiment of Al Meera’s commitment to cooperate with its partners in spreading awareness of environmental responsibility and advancing sustainable development. During Qatar Sustainability Week, Al Meera provided its customers with wonderful opportunities to earn 5 times the Meera Rewards points when recycling their plastic bottles or empty metal cans in the recycling machines spread across Al Meera branches, in an attempt to spread the culture of recycling among consumers, and also obtain 5 times the Meera Rewards points when Buy them reusable bags.
Harmful effects of electronic waste
In the same context, Al Meera urged consumers to protect the environment from the harmful effects of electronic waste by recycling it through its station in the Qataifiya branch, which is dedicated to recycling electronics as one of the safe ways to dispose of it and reduce its impact on the environment.
