Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa and Al Arabi demand to change their professional players

Al Arab has learned that the Qatar Football Association has received many letters from clubs to replace their injured professionals in order to benefit from the professional slot in the current season. Al Arabi club submitted a request to re-register Syrian striker Omar Al Somah instead of Jordanian Yazan Al Naimat, who will be absent for about two months from the Dream Team after his injury with his country’s national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Al Gharafa club also submitted a request to replace Spanish striker Rodrigo, who was injured in the last Al Shamal match and will be absent for 3 months from the Panthers, while Al Rayyan club wants to re-register a professional player who was removed from the Al Rayyan roster in the past period, but the club submitted a request stating its desire to re-register him again.
