Al Rayyan Club announced in a statement on its official page on the “X” platform that its star Ahmed Al-Rawi underwent an urgent surgical operation to remove the appendix. The club confirmed that the operation was successful, wishing the player a speedy recovery in order to quickly return to team training. Al-Rawi is one of the elements that Al-Rahib relies on in all competitions, especially after his wonderful appearance during the AFC U-23 Championship held in Qatar, in which the player excelled with our young national team. On the other hand, the team made qualitative signings during the current summer Mercato in order to make a different appearance in the new season, as it contracted with the Belgian player Julian De Sart from the Belgian club Gent, with a contract extending for three seasons until 2027. The club also announced its contract with defender David Garcia from Osasuna of Spain, to join the first football team for three seasons.
