The Al Rayyan team will conclude its training tonight in preparation for facing Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait tomorrow in the semi-finals of the Gulf Champions League, after turning the page on local competitions temporarily, armed with a great morale boost after winning the QSL Cup title, an achievement that restored confidence to the corridors of “Al-Raheeb” and ignited the enthusiasm of its fans.
Al Rayyan is preparing to undergo a difficult test when it hosts its Kuwaiti counterpart, Al Qadisiyah, tomorrow evening on the ground of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, as part of the semi-finals, in a confrontation that is expected to witness a remarkable public presence that reflects the scale of ambitions.
In terms of preparations, the technical staff led by Spanish coach Jose Moreno developed a balanced program to prepare the players, as the team received a short rest after the pressure of the matches, before returning to training and focusing fully on the upcoming confrontation, which represents the gateway to the final.
Al Rayyan is counting on technical stability and harmony among its players, in addition to benefiting from the ground staff and the audience, especially since the final may be held on the same stadium, which gives the team double incentive to overcome this stage.
The team’s ranks appear almost complete with Wesley’s return from injury, while efforts continue to prepare Rodrigo Moreno, while Andre Amaro’s participation remains under evaluation until the last moments, which may impose some tactical adjustments.
The importance of the confrontation is not limited to the technical aspect, but extends to the moral dimension, as “Al-Raheeb” seeks to continue its positive results and translate its readiness into a victory that will bring it closer to the podium.
The technical meeting for the match will be held today in the conference hall of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, followed by the press conference of Al Rayyan Club in the conference hall of the same stadium, while the main exercise of Al Rayyan Club will be held at 1:00 PM. The program also witnesses the press conference of the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah Club in the conference hall of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, with the day concluding with the main exercise of the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah Club on sub-field No. (5).
