3 fateful tasks await our teams in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League for the elite, which is considered the beginning of the countdown in order to decide their position on qualifying for the round of 16, in which there is no alternative to winning.
The three tasks are very powerful and difficult, especially since they will be against the closest competitors, on their stadium, and among their fans. Their difficulty is increased by the unsatisfactory results achieved by our teams in the last round, despite the fact that all the matches were held on our stadiums. Al-Gharafa lost to Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia 1-3 at Al-Bayt Stadium, and Al-Rayyan tied with Persepolis of Iran at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium 1-1, and Al Sadd also tied with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia by one goal.
The first mission in the sixth round in which Al-Wasl of the Emirates hosts Al-Rayyan team, the second mission in which Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia hosts Al-Sadd team on Monday, and the third mission in which Al-Hilal hosts Al-Gharafa team on Tuesday.
Before the start of the sixth round, Al Sadd is in fifth place with 9 points, Al Rayyan is sixth and Al Gharafa is eighth with 4 points.
A victory for Al-Sadd, Al-Rayyan and Al-Gharafa will increase their qualification for the round of 16, and a loss, God forbid, or a draw, will leave their fate, especially Al-Rayyan and Al-Gharafa, suspended until the final seventh and eighth rounds.
A fierce encounter
The most ferocious match in this round will bring together Al Hilal with Al Gharafa in Riyadh, a match during which Al Hilal will seek to compensate for its draw with Al Sadd in Doha with the goal of forcing it to give up the lead and the summit.
In this fierce confrontation, Al Gharafa needs a performance and level completely different from everything he presented in previous matches.
Al-Gharafa is in eighth place with 4 points, and Al-Hilal is in second place with 13 points.
Despite the fierce and difficult task, Al-Gharafa has no alternative but victory after the heavy loss at its home stadium last round to Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia 1-3, a loss that led to its decline from sixth to eighth.

Difficult confrontation
Al Rayyan will play a very difficult confrontation against Al Wasl in Dubai, which has had the biggest surprises so far and has achieved several unexpected victories, the most recent of which was over the Iraqi police in Baghdad 3-1. These victories put them in fourth place with 10 points and make them very close to qualifying for the round of 16. Therefore, Al-Rayyan facing him in his own home is not an easy matter and requires Al-Raheeb to do a lot of things in defense and attack in order to achieve victory.

A new Qatari-Saudi summit
The meeting of our clubs with the Saudi clubs will be renewed through the fiery summit that brings together Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia and Al-Sadd in Riyadh. It is one of the most important and strongest matches of the round, as Al-Sadd seeks to compensate for its draw with Al-Hilal last round and return to fourth place and move an important step closer to qualifying.
Al-Nassr is in third place with 13 points, and Al-Sadd is fifth with 9 points. Al-Nassr seeks to win despite officially qualifying for the round of 16 in order to improve its ranking at the top, while Al-Zaeem seeks to get one step closer to qualifying.
Attainment achieved
There is a fourth Asian match for Qatari football this week, but it is a match won for Al-Wakra against Ravshan of Tajikistan in the AFC Champions League 2, next Wednesday at Al-Janoub Stadium, where Al-Wakra secured qualification to the round of 16. Losing in this match will not affect its qualification, but a win may benefit it when a draw is made. The final rounds will take place on December 12th
In the Gulf Champions League
The Arab League and the agreement are a difficult confrontation
In the Gulf Champions League, Al-Arabi will play a very difficult match in the group stage against Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia next Tuesday, and this match may determine Al-Arabi’s fate, either through the first victory and returning to the competition to qualify for the quarter-finals, or in preparation for the farewell to the group stage and the tournament.
Al-Ettifaq leads the second group with a full score and 9 points, while Al-Arabi is in fourth and last place with one point, and Al-Riffa of Bahrain occupies second place with 4 points, then Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait is third with 2 points.
