Al Sadd Club announced that its player Pedro Miguel underwent successful surgery today in London to recover from a hamstring injury.
The club stated in a statement that Miguel is scheduled to begin his treatment and rehabilitation program in the coming period until returning to the field again, without revealing the duration of the player’s absence.
The player suffered a hamstring injury in the Iranian Independence match, which was held at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, for the second round of the AFC Champions League Elite Football Championship.
Miguel is considered one of the main pillars of the Al-Sadd team, as he contributed with him last season in winning the Qatari Football League and the Emir Cup titles. He was also present with the first Qatari national team during the past years, and contributed with them in winning the 2019 and 2023 Asian Cup titles.
