Al Shaqab proudly announces the return of the Al Shaqab Show Jumping League, a high-level tournament designed to showcase young talent and encourage equestrian excellence. The league is scheduled to be held at the Longines Indoor Arena in Al Shaqab from December 13-14 until the end of next May. The league provides aspiring riders aged 25 years and under with a competitive, supportive platform to showcase their skills. This year’s edition promises a unique experience that includes international competitions, additional categories in show jumping, interactive activities for families and a welcoming environment for all attendees.
Al Shaqab League provides the opportunity for young male and female riders to advance their careers in the equestrian field in a comprehensive and fair framework. It ensures that the league focuses on future champions, juniors, youth, the amateur category, and the Al Shaqab champions category, to provide the opportunity for riders of all categories and levels to excel and be creative. In addition, the 2024-2025 season will introduce a team competition and a new experience with the team competition draw, where each team will bear the name of a legendary Al Shaqab horse champion. The teams will compete under names that echo the heritage of Al Shaqab, including champion stallions such as Marwan, Al Udayd, Ghazal, Wadi, Farhoud, Kahil, Hariri, Afrin, Swar, and Shahalil Al Shaqab.
