Abdullah Al Tamimi, our national team player, qualified for the quarter-finals of the fifth Qatar Squash Federation Championship in the bronze category on the World Squash Association tour, after an easy victory he achieved at the beginning of his career at the expense of his Welsh counterpart, Eimear Evans, with a score of 3 games to nothing (3 – 0) in the match. Abdullah Al Tamimi, the defending champion, expressed his great happiness with the victory he achieved at the beginning of his career and the qualification to the quarter-finals of the tournament, saying: I tried to maintain my focus and balance throughout the match, especially in the third half, which I did not start well, but in the end I was able to win.
