“Ali bin Abi Talib” wins the “Ramadan Yarmouk” championship

The Ali bin Abi Talib Preparatory School team crowned the champion of the sixth Ramadan Al -Yarmouk Preparatory School, after winning the final match against the Ministry of Education and Higher Education team on penalties, after the end of the original time in a negative tie, in a meeting with excitement and club. The match was held on Saturday evening at the Yarmouk School Stadium, at the end of the championship activities that included football, volleyball, and table tennis. The closing ceremony witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al -Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, as well as a number of leaders from the Ministry and abroad, school administrators, teachers, administrators and technicians. His Excellency stressed that the ministry’s sponsorship of this championship, which targets the career staff, including teachers, administrators, technicians and employees, comes from its belief in the importance of sport in creating a positive competitive environment away from the atmosphere of routine work. He also thanked the Yarmouk School management for its distinguished organization, and to all the workers who contributed to the success of this copy.
For his part, Mr. Mubarak Abdulaziz Al -Malik, a physical education mentor in the Department of Educational Guidance at the Ministry of Education, praised the efforts made to make the championship a success, thanking him to the principal of the Yarmouk School, Professor Youssef Al -Maliki, and the school’s physical education team. He said: “This sports gathering is one of the most important sports events in the month of Ramadan, whether in terms of the number of participating teams or the brotherly atmosphere in which the Ministry’s employees contribute.
As for the championship director, Mr. Khamis Al -Kuwari, he thanked the Ministry of Education for its support and care for this copy, praising the return of the championship after a five -year hiatus. He added: “There was a great desire from teachers in all schools to restore the championship and its continuation, and the sixth edition witnessed a wide participation of public and private schools and schools.
At the end of the tournament, His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al -Nuaimi crowned the Ali bin Abi Talib school team with the championship cup and gold medals, while the Ministry team won the silver medals. The player, Mohammed Al -Bassiouni, from the ministry team, was also honored with the award for the best player in the championship, after he scored seven goals, while Ayman Othman from Ali bin Abi Talib School won the award for the best goalkeeper.
