An exciting conclusion to the Qatar Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses

The curtain came down on the 14th Qatar Local Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses for local owners, organized by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, headed by Mr. Hamad bin Abdul Rahman Al Attiyah, over the course of 4 days in the indoor field of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, amid large participation from stalls, farms, and local owners.
The last day of competition witnessed the crowning of champions and heroines with colorful medals in the foals, colts, mares and stallions championships.
In the one-year-old filly championship, “Nayla Al-Jazeel”, king of Al-Jazeel Stud, won the gold medal, “HK Bashayer”, owned by Hamad Juma Al-Kaabi, won the silver medal, and “Bissan Al Saree”, king of Al Saree Stud, won the bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Sayer Al Bahia, king of Al Mashrab Stud, won the gold medal in the yearling colts championship, while Siraj Al Jazeel, king of Al Jazeel Stud, won the silver medal, and Raeq Al Shaqab, king of Nasser Salman Al Muslim, won the bronze medal.
In the 2-3 year old filly championship, the gold medal went to “Haifa Al Tanhat”, owned by Rashid Juma Al Muhannadi, the silver medal went to “Shehana KL”, owned by Kahil Stud, and the bronze medal went to “Salma Al Wajba”, owned by Hamad Khalaf Al Mannai.
As for the championship for foals aged 2-3 years, “Dandon KL”, king of Kahil Stud, won the gold medal, “Sami Al-Zubair”, king of “Najd Stud”, won the silver medal, and “Azzam Umm Al-Azm”, king of Nasser Muhammad Misfer Al-Hajri, won the bronze medal.
The competition was strong in the Mares category, where “Nagla Umm Al-Azam,” king of Nasser Muhammad Misfer Al-Hajri, won the gold medal, “De Falla,” king of Al-Salem Stud, won the silver medal, and “Mayan Al-Lahaif,” king of Al-Lahaif Stud, won the bronze medal.
In the stallion championship, “Faris Al-Nasiat,” king of the “Al-Dana” Stud, won the gold medal, “Admiral,” the king of “Al-Amer Stud,” won the silver medal, and “Bahi Al-Jaham,” king of the “Al-Jaham Stud,” won the bronze medal.
