An exciting start to the Souq Waqif Horse Championship

The sixth Souq Waqif International Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses (A) was launched yesterday as part of the Souq Waqif Equestrian Festival 2025, held in the western square of Souq Waqif. In the qualifying competitions for year-old fillies (A1), Ikram Al-Nasser, king of Al-Nasser Stud, won first place.
In the competition for yearling fillies (1B), Waad Al-Jamil, king of Al-Jamil Stud, came first.
In the competition for yearling fillies (1C), “Luna Al Shahaniya,” owned by Sheikha Iman bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, came in first place.
In the competition for yearling fillies (1D), “Arabella Al Shahaniya,” owned by Sheikha Yasmine bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, came in first place. In the competition for yearling foals (A2), the colt “Al-Fahad MA As,” owned by Rayan Abdul Rahman Al-Siqal, won first place. His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Qatar, and Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Mansour, Director of the Souq Waqif Equestrian Festival, participated in crowning the winners of the first places.
